Profile

I am full time writer/ director and partner in a commercials and television production house in South Africa (JHB). i have about 15 years experience in the industry, 6 of them as a director.
I have covered most genres of film making, including commercials, tv shows (childrens drama, magazine shows, reality shows, and reality game shows) i have also directed many corporates and music videos.
i have also written most of the projects i have been involved in as well as comedy sketches.
i am a highly ambitious individual, and i take my work very seriously. i may negotiate a package for ten days, but you will get twenty out of me guaranteed.
I have a number of feature film ideas in various stages of written development. this year i am making a film, is there anyone out there who wants to be a part of the magic.

Skills

As mentioned i have quite a wide scope in terms of directing experience, however my flare for working with performers (i studied to be an actor) and my knowledge of the in camera technicals, as well as fusing live action with animation has given me an edge over others (I worked for many years as a clapper loader/ focus puller). My writing capability and the creation of most of the formats i have worked on are other talents that i believe help me put my best foot forward.

Interests

I am seriously interested in directing drama, especially pieces which involve the frivolity of everyday life and the comical nature with which we take everything so seriously...
