“Discovery Channel” TV Show! Assistance in Art Department!
NEED HELP THIS WEEKEND 8/21 & 8/22
Experience in miniature making, drawing, scenic work, set design, construction background a plus!
Location:
Oak Park, CA - located by Agoura Hills. Time/Day: M-F 8-6
Job Type: can be full time or part time.
General Duration: possibly until November 2010
This is a non-paying “Intern” position for now.
Let us know the following:
What materials you work with such as: balsa wood, metal, sheet metal, different types of wood, types of plastics, plexi, plaster, sculpting foam, fabrics, types of paint, wax, etc.
Working with paint (& paint theory), resin, adhesives, texture, bondo, a bonus!
What type of tools you use: power tools, air tools, hand tools, including chop saw, band saw, table saw, jig saw, welder, solder, mill, drill press, sanders.

What is your skill level (1 being expertise)
Knowledge of construction very helpful! Building instillations! Also, wiring/electrical, plumbing,
Can work under minimal supervision Can work as a team member. Must take direction well. Must work at a good pace to meet deadlines. Have a good eye for detail.
Creativity is a plus Must be a team player. Must be on time.
