UltraStar is looking for a passionate, energetic Marketing Manager. This is a fun job with a ton of opportunity for shaping the business. The Marketing Team at UltraStar is a resource for all of the artists on the company roster. The Marketing Manager will coordinate a team of junior-level marketers while diving into high-level marketing planning at the company level. This role requires a leader who can create campaigns as well as manage the team effectively to work on a variety of marketing deliverables. The Marketing Manager will meet regularly with the Client Managers who work on each artist account and report to the Director of Marketing. |
| Job Requirements |
| ★ Project manage the marketing team at UltraStar on a daily basis using project management tools and face-to-face meetings
★ Ensure deliverables are created on time and to quality standards
★ Coordinate robust campaigns that include the artist's official website, fan club and extended brand real estate like YouTube, MySpace, widgets, feeds, media players and other digital tools
★ Research potential sponsors and partners to extend UltraStar's marketing reach
★ Meet with partners and lead meetings about UltraStar's portfolio and assets with confidence
★ Submit weekly reports and updates to the Director of Marketing
★ Create and use case studies and online metrics to analyze efficacy of promotions
★ Take the initiative to propose new marketing programs, artist website features or tools to improve the artist and fan experience, increase exposure and generally improve the core of UltraStar's business!
★ Creating marketing collateral including copy for emails, contests and promotions
★ Maintaining and updating numerous marketing tools, such as SEO descriptions, website tracking
platforms, banner creation and affiliate programs
★ 1-2 years in marketing or related field desired
★ Positive attitude and diplomatic problem solving skills
★ Creative thinker
★ Strong leader
★ Experience in working with a team and managing people
★ Experience in HTML and graphic design (Photoshop, Dreamweaver)
★ Experience in creating and managing email blasts
★ Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines
★ Excellent writing and communication skills
★ Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
★ Solid understanding of digital music technology, the online music environment, and digital music sites
★ A passion for music! |
